What makes North Weald Special

Beautiful Outdoor Space

Outside North Weald Village Preschool

Our garden features artificial grass so children can play outside all year round — rain or shine. Children love running, climbing on apparatus, riding trikes and hosting tea parties in the cosy wooden playhouse.

Strong Key-Person Relationships

Key Person North Weald

Children develop close bonds with enthusiastic, caring staff who know them well. They go to their key person for cuddles, reassurance and guidance — building the emotional security that underpins all learning.

Community Connections

North Weald Village Preschool out in the community

Children enjoy regular trips to the local park, library and train station, helping them gain a wider understanding of their community and the world around them.

Fine Motor & Early Writing Skills

North Weald Village Preschool Motor Skills

From moulding play dough to chalking on large boards and scooping sand, children develop the hand muscles and coordination they need for early writing — all through play they genuinely enjoy.

Dedicated SEND Support

North Weald Village Preschool SEND

Our Special Educational Needs Coordinator works closely with staff, parents and external professionals to ensure children who need additional support receive it quickly and effectively, with targeted plans regularly reviewed.

A Word

From Our Manager

"I feel incredibly lucky to manage North Weald Village Preschool. What makes this setting special is that we truly know every child — their favourite stories, what makes them laugh, what they're curious about. That's how we make learning personal.

When children feel safe and happy, everything else follows — the confidence, the friendships, the love of learning. If you're looking for a preschool where your child will be known, valued and supported to flourish, come and see the smiles for yourself."
