What ages do you accept?

We welcome children aged 2–5 years old at our North Weald location and children aged 18 months to 5 years old at our Shenfield location

Do you offer funded places?

Yes! We offer funded early education for eligible 18 month, 2, 3 and 4-year-olds. Contact us to find out what your child is entitled to.

Can I visit before enrolling my child?

Absolutely — we encourage it! Book a visit and we’ll show you around, introduce you to the team and answer any questions you have.

How do you help children settle in?

We take settling in very seriously. Children are paired with a dedicated key person, comforters from home are welcome, and we work at your child’s pace to ensure they feel safe, happy and ready to learn.

Are you Ofsted registered?

Yes, both our North Weald and Shenfield preschools are Ofsted registered and rated ‘Good’.

What do children need to bring?

Children need a change of clothes, a water bottle and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing (wellies and waterproofs are great!). We provide healthy snacks and all learning resources.

Do you support children with special educational needs?

Yes. We have a dedicated SENCO and work closely with families and external professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need. Visit our SEND Local Offer page for more details.

What is your safeguarding policy?

Safeguarding is our highest priority. All staff hold current DBS checks, complete regular safeguarding training and follow robust policies and procedures. Ofsted has confirmed our safeguarding arrangements are effective at both locations.
